What We Do

Technologies for Ultra Efficient Power Conversion

Power Systems of the Future – Now

Our power systems set the benchmark for:

efficiency,

thereby reducing power consumption, wasted power and cost whilst enabling miniaturization, reducing complexity and increasing reliability.

intelligence,

incorporating digital control for optimum efficiency and smart functionality under all system conditions.

safety,

providing safe power also in the most demanding and dangerous conditions, and (N)EMP protection.

SUSTAINABILITY,

reducing Greenhouse Gas emissions, optimising Utility Resources and reducing electronic waste through reduced component count, high reliability and a building block approach to products.

REDUCING POWER CONSUMPTION WILL DO MORE TO REDUCE CO2 EMISSIONS THAN ADDITIONAL POWER GENERATION FROM RENEWABLES

Why Energy Efficiency

Technologies for Ultra Efficient Power Conversion
Energy Efficiency is the First Fuel…there is no plausible pathway to net zero emissions without using our energy resources much more efficiently. Fatih Birol, IEA Executive Director
Energy Efficiency is the cheapest, cleanest, fastest source of energy. Dr. Steven Fawkes, Author of ‘Energy Efficiency: The Definitive Guide to the Cheapest, Cleanest, Fastest Source of Energy
The ever-increasing demand for more power at higher efficiency by our environmentally conscious economies means that electrical power will be delivered, where viable, at higher voltage, higher current and higher frequency. Prof. Patrick Luk, Professor of Electrical Engineering, Centre for Thermal Energy Systems and Materials, Cranfield University
The greenest energy is the energy we don’t use. Peter DeSantis, SVP, AWS
One of the world’s most powerful tools for combatting climate change is also one of the most overlooked – energy efficiency, which   needs to sit alongside tools such as solar, wind and electric vehicles. Financial Times – Special Report – Energy Efficiency – 17 Dec 2021

About us

PASSIONATE ABOUT INNOVATION AND THE PLANET

We are a commercially driven, emerging technology company based in a state-of-the-art lab at the Innovation Centre in the Cranfield University Technology Park, Bedfordshire, U.K.

The company was established in 2019 to focus on R&D and investment in cutting-edge technologies that drive the Energy Transition and in particular on energy efficiency: reducing power losses, consumption & cost.

We are backed by investors who invest patient capital in innovation and cleantech – “investing for the long term in tech that is good for people and the planet”.

Our products

TRANSFORMING POWER CONVERSION WITH HIGH EFFICIENCY AND SMART FUNCTIONALITY
Our first focus is on innovating, developing and bringing to market ultra efficient power conversion technology and systems.

Delivering:

Efficiency, Intelligence, Safety, Durability, Reliability, Flexibility and Simplicity

Reducing:

Cost, Consumption, Component Count, Size, Waste, Heat and CO2 Emissions

We aim to be the future platform technology of choice for power supply conversion and distribution of power from any AC or DC source to loads across multiple environments and applications.
Our technology is versatile and as such is applicable to a wide range of applications, for example: electronic devices, PCs, workstations, servers, gaming consoles, microgrids and energy storage, commercial buildings and homes (BACS, lighting and sensors), emergency applications, vehicles, aerospace and space.
All of our systems are being engineered to operate under the harshest of environmental conditions and to incorporate (N)EMP detection and protection as standard.
